FLAG HOISTING CEREMONY AT THE NBP HEAD OFFICE

NBP flagKarachi: In commemoration of Pakistan Independence Day, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at 3rd floor, NBP Head Office Building in consonance with playing of National Anthem and flag hoisting at Islamabad/throughout the country. NBP executives and employees prayed for the country and countrymen. NBP Building was illuminated for last few days on the occasion of Independence Day.
Dr. Asif A. Brohi gave a message that it is indeed an honor and moment of great pride for all of us that National Bank of Pakistan has been awarded numerous national and international awards. This Year also, The Banker Magazine has ranked NBP as number one bank in Pakistan, the Bank has outperformed all the banks of Pakistan according to the recently released list of “Top 1000 Banks of 2013” by The Banker magazine of UK. Every year The Banker publishes a list of Top 1000 banks based on review criteria to determine individual bank’s strength, size, soundness, profit and performance. NBP based on Tier-I Capital has been declared No.1 Bank of Pakistan. The Banker has been a flagship global financial intelligence magazine of Financial Times Group of UK. Its ratings and lists are referred by professionals and governments worldwide. The Asian Banking & Finance has awarded NBP two awards to NBP as Pakistan Domestic Technology and Operations Bank of the Year 2013 and Domestic Retail Bank of the Year 2013- Pakistan. Nearly 200 senior bankers graced the awards night in Singapore on July 18, 2013. Asian Banking and Finance announced in an event of award ceremony for the Retail Banking Awards and Wholesale Banking Awards.

In a message President NBP further said that our forefathers worked very hard to get this country independent and therefore we pay tribute to our nation for these awards of NBP, which are honour for Pakistan therefore we salute and thank our Nation and NBP Employees to make this Bank proud and this is the depiction of our print campaign launched on 14th August.
