Jubilee General Insurance and HBL entered into a Bancassurance agreement

Jubilee General Insurance (JGI) and HBL (HBL) entered into a Bancassurance agreement under which JGI will become the provider of non-life general insurance products to HBL customers in Pakistan. According to a press release, the initial phase of partnership will begin with Wallet Insurance, the most customised cash withdrawal and accidental insurance product, designed to cater to individual needs. JGI MD and CEO Tahir Ahmed and HBL President and CEO Nauman K Dar along with the senior management of both organisations were present on the occasion. The JGI CEO believed that personal insurance products have the power to maintain and enhance the lifestyle of individuals. “By leveraging on the immense reach of HBL and innovative ways of both HBL and Jubilee General, we can start to make this happen.”
